Think Safety!
A car is a serious piece of machinery and requires great responsibility. Drivers must make sure an automobile is safe and ready for the road before pulling out of the driveway.
Some clients use their cars to commute for long distances. Wether on long trips or short errands, it is important to timely address concerns that may lead to a break down or an accident.
At no charge, our mechanics will inspect your tires and ensure that your vehicle has the proper lubricants and fluids.
Tires
Overinflated tires can be dangerous, as too much air means the tire does not make proper contact with the road, which affects handling, traction and the time it takes for the car to fully stop.
Alternately, too little air in a tire results in an increase in friction, wearing down the tire quickly and causing a risk of a blowout.
As an authorized Firestone/Bridgestone Dealer, we can handle all of your tire servicing and, if necessary, replacement needs.
Engine Maintenance
A "Check Engine" light is a warning device to indicate a problem or condition requiring attention.
Usually a flashing Check Engine light means a problem has occurred that should be investigated as soon as possible.
The Check Engine light can also mean that a specified service interval has been reached (100,000 miles for example) that requires a specific major service such as replacing the oxygen sensors.
ALL Check Engine lights (or any other dashboard warning lights) should be investigated immediately to avoid unsafe or damaging operating conditions.
Brakes
When you depress your brake pedal, your car transmits the force from your foot to its brakes through a fluid. Since the actual brakes require a much greater force than you could apply with your leg, your car must also multiply the force of your foot. It does this in two ways:
Mechanical advantage (leverage)
Hydraulic force multiplication
The brakes transmit the force to the tires using friction, and the tires transmit that force to the road using friction also. At Bryant Automotive, we have the experts that can ensure your vehicle’s safety and provide the proper replacement of brakes for your vehicle.
